Professional Divemaster
Completion of a divemaster certification is your entrance into the professional working world of the dive industry. As a divemaster you become and an invaluable team member for dive centers and resorts worldwide with seasonal and year-round opportunities.

Though you will have time to enjoy the beautiful wonder that is Cozumel, divemaster training is not a vacation. We expect our divemaster candidates to be hardworking, committed professionals dedicated to making the most of our time together. Here you will begin to learn the skills of our trade which you will continue to grow for the rest of your life. The length of the divemaster program is dependent on the candidate's current level of experience as well as weather conditions allowing enough dive days to train correctly. The cost to complete the divemaster program varies, depending on where onsite housing is needed or not.
As a divemaster candidate, you will
Have hands on experience in "behind the scenes" pre and post dive preparations,
Perform boat and gear setup before departure
Learn advanced dive communication and observation skills
Give dive briefings and guide dives
Master advanced drift diving DSMB deployment
Learn emergency procedures and advanced safety skills
Learn how to assist in open water classes
Advance your knowledge of ocean and wildlife conservation/stewardship
